I had a moment recently, one of those gut-check realizations that make you pause and say, “WAIT? how did I get here?”.

I’ve always been someone who shows up. I pour into the people around me, whether it’s family, friends, or projects I believe in. Supporting others comes naturally to me, it’s just who I am. But somewhere along the way, I started noticing a pattern.

I was helping build dreams, but was I building my own?

The Subtle Shift That Happens Without Us Noticing

It’s so easy to fall into this role, especially as women. We step up, we help out, we fill in the gaps without even questioning it. And before we know it, we’re so busy making sure everyone else has what they need that we forget to ask ourselves:

“Am I giving this same level of energy to my own goals?”
